About the society
The Oberlin 3-2 Engineering Society is a student-led community being formed for Oberlin students interested in engineering, the 3-2 pathway, and collaborative technical projects. It welcomes students across class years, fields of study, and experience levels.
Status language: Describe the society as “being formed” or “in its founding stage” until its organizational status and first programs are formally established.

Photography
Use real society images as soon as they exist.
The current site uses a small number of freely licensed engineering photographs while the society is forming. After the first meeting and project sessions, those images should be replaced with consented photographs from actual Oberlin activities.
- Get permission before publishing identifiable students.
- Record the photographer, source, and license for external images.
- Avoid implying that stock-photo subjects are society members.
- Write alt text that describes the useful visual information.
